The SK-1 SW DT 30T swivel thumb thinning shear's 30 teeth allows for more subtle incremental blending.  This thinning shear is crafted to give the same elegant feel and balance found in all Lucky Hare Shears.

Thinning Shear:  The SK-1 SW 30DT has 30 teeth on both blades that allows for very subtle softening and blending with precision. The cutting edges of the teeth are convexed and polished to a razor sharp edge. 

Swivel Thumb Handle: The innovative swivel thumb design allows the positioning of the shear in multiple planes while the hand and arm remains in a more naturally relaxed position.  The swivel thumb design is a joy to work with when creating complex and intricate haircuts.  Once the technique of handling the swivel thumb is mastered, this shear is must-have in the stylist’s tool kit.

Cutting Blade Design:  The cutting blade is forged and finely polished into the traditional and popular Japanese convex edge and are hollow-ground on the inside of each blade to give a razor sharp cutting action day in and day out. 

Handle Design:  The handles are “offset” for holding the shears in a more natural and comfortable hand position. This puts less stress on the thumb tendon and helps reduce the risk of repetitive motion CTS. 

Adjusting System: A traditional decorative knob with an internal clicker plate allows for easy adjustment without a tool and holds the desired tension setting securely.

Fixed Finger Rest: A sculptured permanent finger rest is deftly curved for comfort and is not removable.

Removable Finger Rest:  The finger rest is removable to suit a wider variety of cutting styles.Remove as needed by simply unscrewing the finger rest.   

Sculptured Handle:  The shank of the handle has been contoured to provide a “groove” for the middle finger and the index finger to create more control and feel.
